OEM and desktop RFID readers supporting low frequency, high frequency, and NFC (± BLE)

The TWN4 MultiTech 2 reader is an all-in-one proximity reader for the following frequencies: 125 kHz,, 13.56 MHz, NFC. It can connect via UART (TTL, RS232), USB and Ethernet and is available as a PCB and in a desktop enclosure.

The TWN4 MultiTech 2 is also compatible with over 60 of the most common RFID technologies currently in use worldwide. Furthermore, to expand the range of supported contactless identification methods, the integrated reader also supports NFC and optional Bluetooth Low Energy. It is compatible with the two most common smartphone operating systems—Android and iOS—making it suitable for integration into mobile identification applications.

In addition, the TWN4 MultiTech 2 features flexible programmability – when communicating with RFID transponders, it can make automatic decisions based on predefined rules. Using a contactless configuration card, these configurations can be easily reapplied to other readers, significantly reducing installation time for large projects.
