TCPConv

TCP converter

The primary purpose of the TCP converter is to provide RFID authentication for older single-function printers. These printers can be connected to a local area network (LAN) on one end and to an RFID reader via an RS232 or USB cable on the other. If a person swipes their card on the reader, the information is sent over the network to a local print server, which can then allow or deny the print job based on the user's identity. This eliminates the need for expensive multifunction printers (MFPs).
