OEM board RFID reader with NFC support

Elatec's multi-technology mini readers support only high-frequency RFID and NFC. They are designed for integration into machines, handheld computers, or any other device. Special emphasis was placed on size, low power consumption, price, and flexibility. Due to their compact size, they can be integrated directly onto the main circuit board.

Highlights include four user-configurable ports (configured as input or output), buzzer support, and an integrated high-performance antenna. A simple ASCII or binary protocol enables fast software development cycles. All host communication occurs via an SPI or asynchronous serial TTL interface. The module provides placement for two software-controlled LEDs. For applications requiring additional security, an external Secure Access Module (SAM) is available. This enables applications to perform secure transactions, such as payment terminals.
