TWN4 Palon Square M
The TWN4 Palon Square M series RFID module is a multifunctional read/write module with
a wide range of interfaces, such as RS 485 or Wiegand. All modules support NFC and can
also optionally use other interfaces like OSDP protocol or I2C. Although these modules
are general-purpose devices, they are particularly suitable for attendance and access
control applications. Due to their compact size, they are an ideal solution for integration into third-party products.
The key features of the TWN4 Palon Square M LF HF card reader module include an optimized
form factor for easy integration into any host device. It supports various different interfaces,
one anti-tamper detection input, and an onboard MEMS gyroscope sensor. Additionally,
the module can read over 60 RFID technologies from low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency
(HF) bands, including NFC. This allows users to choose from a variety of technologies
as needed, rather than being forced to select only a few.
Features:
Possibility of reading over 60 types of RFID technologies
Supports multiple interfaces, such as USB, RS-485, Wiegand, and clock/data (optional OSDP protocol and I2C)
Two RFID frequencies (125 kHz/13.56 MHz) and NFC support
Equipped with tamper detection input and an onboard MEMS gyro sensor
Powerful SDK available for writing applications that run directly on the module
Firmware updates can be performed in the field
Onboard 18 kB flash memory, for example for storing user-accessible non-volatile data
Supports transparent data exchange with RFID media
CCID and PC/SC 2.01
